Humboldt Glory

This glorious sunset was one for posterity. Taken at the Clam Beach Vista Point, just north of McKinleyville on the 101, these photos showcase the mouth of the Mad River and the Trinidad Head, two iconic features of Humboldt County.

Two of these photos earned a place in my book, Humboldt Sunsets, including the cover photo, featured above.

We arrived a little late; the sun was already setting and lighting up the clouds

The beauty continued to unfold as the blues deepened and the reds lit up

A think crescent moon joined the show, visible in the photo above ๐Ÿคฉ

Many of these images are very similar, but they were so stunning, I kept taking them…

Even as the colors faded, it was still magical ๐Ÿ’ซ

That’s in the this evening!

This photo below is named “Humboldt Glory”, and is available for purchase in a variety of media types on my website. It looks really good as a metal print, I have one hanging on the wall in my office ๐Ÿ˜

I hope you enjoyed viewing these as much as I enjoyed taking them! ๐Ÿ’œ
