These three photos were all taken on the same day, on the Skunk Cabbage Creek Trail in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park, Humboldt County, California.
After a 2.5 mile hike through the forest, the trail parallels the ocean for a short stretch. On this day, coastal fog was seeping into the sunny forest, creating these sparkling, magical scenes full of color, wonder, and delight 🤩
I swear, sometimes I see fairies and other magical creatures hiding in these photos.
This first one is named Fairy Wonderland. We have an 18″x24″ canvas wrapped print of this one hanging on our living room wall 😊
This next one is named Enchanted Glen. I love the swirls of light in the top middle 😊
The third member of this collection is Fairy’s Delight. Again the swirls of color create a magical effect 😍
